in class we always have debates. todays was very interesting...it was about now that obama was president should he still be giving out college funds to the people?

heres my opinion...
i think that they should. just cuz we have had a change in history does not mean that people are gonna earn more people. what does change is the way that the people think. the people now have more hope and they belive that they can acomplish anything that they put their minds to. obama serves to us an example of what happens if we were to really want something and were to work for it. people dont just get richer because we have an african american president. the manorities still need the help of the money that they get to go to college. we shouldn't stop givving them financial aid, instead we should encourage it because we are the people of the future. hope has become a word that is well known and that people are now putting into practice.
